It will only go for about an hour and there will be prizes, refreshments and stuff for you to make and take home. I love Stampin Up..they make so much creative stuff besides stamps, scrapebooking stuff and card stuff. It's going to be at my house and you know it's gonna be fun. So if you can RSVP by Wed through facebook, blog, email or call that would be soooo freakin awesome!

I will take a whiskey sour...and a milk for the kid please

Not too much to blog about lately. I need a new camera...hence not too many pictures either. So here's some randoms:

Everyday, I pass a bar named a bar named sue. No people, the name is A BAR NAMED SUE. I always think I want to go in there because really cool people must be inside. Then again, I am eight months pregnant and I might look out of place and it is in a strip mall. How cool can a bar be if it is located in a strip mall? And would they serve me a DR. PEPPER?

Something really exciting is happening in my life right after I have the baby. I wish I could share the details but I have been forbidden to blog about it. If you are close to me you know what I am talking about. Let's just say an OBSESSION has paid off. Years of research and finally....the moment I have been waiting for.

George and I were watching Oprah on Monday which was about breast cancer and mastectomies and my husband turned to me and said, "I don't think I would feel like a real women if they took out my breasts and put fake ones in". YIKES!

I was out talking to my neighbors the other day and who should drive by but an ex from like 5 years ago. Did I mention he was driving really slow and I was ten feet away from him and he wouldn't look over at me. I live on a little street. He did follow me to Phoenix one time. He couldn't live further away. STRANGE.

Not one of my crossing kids has ever asked me if I am having a baby. They just frightfully look at my ginormous belly. I will miss those kids this summer. They are such a polite bunch always telling me to have a great day and thanking me.

All in all life is pretty boring these days. That can be a good thing though.

u scream I scream

These days are filled with McDonalds ice cream, lounging in bathing suits and three hour naps. I have come to realize I NEVER want to be pregnant in the heat EVER EVER again. I am miserable! None of my maternity clothes fit anymore over my HUGE belly. I have consented to just wear George's shirts. That is, when I actually put clothes on. I have all these fun things to go to and my foggy mind just forgets until the day after I was suppose to show up. GLORY. I probably didn't want to do my hair anyway. Josie hurry up and have your baby because then I know that I am closer!

Mommy's day

IT is really funny how many people thought they knew what I was talking about in the post below and they weren't even close. Don't worry folks you don't know who I was talking about.

Anyways...(I know, not a word) I had a spectacular Mother's Day. I got to sleep in and woke up to french toast and orange juice. I was lavished with gifts of perfume that I have wanted for months, lotion, socks and 2(!) twix bars. My daughter was as close to an angel as you could get. We enjoyed church without changing a poopie diaper and had a bbq with my favorite, buffalo burgers and cheese bratwursts which our neighbor joined us for. It was as close to a perfect day as you could get. Thanks honey for making it so special! I love being a mother!

Inner

Let's get dirty honest for a minute here. I tend to be incredibly self absorbed sometimes. I like to think I am aware of it and make a conscious effort to squash this selfishness but I have a lot of work to do. For example:
Recently, I felt irritated with someone. Trust me these days it is a shock if I'm not irritated with someone. This person did some acts that I deemed "irresponsible". I am not close to this person so I never shared with them how I felt so the feeling stayed in the back of my head. I eventually started to think of ways to get rid of this person out of my life. Like I said I am not close to this person so that would be pretty easy with a few snips here and a few phone calls there. I had convinced myself that it was for the better and decided to rally my troops against this person with some phone calls. Before I picked up the phone, however, I decided to check my email. This lead to browsing the web and such where out of the blue I landed on something said person had wrote. As I read though inner feelings and thoughts I realized this person is a lot like me. They struggle with day to day issues. They try to be the best at everything, yet know in some areas they won't come close. Basically they are human.
I think I will try to be this person's friend. We may have some stuff to learn from eachother. Heaven knows we sure can relate.

90's rule

I want to bring back the 90's. Let's do it shall we? Here are some of the essentials:

Babydoll dresses and combat boots (Dr. Martens)
flannel shirts and boy jeans
Hootie and the blowfish
Krunchy, gel hair
Counting Crows
Hakie Saks
dark lip liner paired with light lipstick
My So Called Life
Melrose Place
Volvos
Tennis whites
Sun-in for your hair

I see all the UGLY 80's fads coming back in the stores and I think we should just skip on forward to the 90's. Life is good in the 90's. Enjoy the playlist my friends....
