Today my happiness cost $3.94...

We made it home from our trip to Portland! It was so much fun but not nearly enough time. We only had two days and we had to split them between my family and George's. So I am sorry to all the people out there I would have love to have seen but had no time! Like Aunt Sissy and Corn. It was so great to see my brother and his family. I always leave wishing we lived much closer like we used to. I could never get sick of him! The drive actually wasn't that bad in that my sister had given Tati about 30 Dora/Barney/Backyardigan videos and she was content to sit there all day and watch them. The weather was nice and the company was better.
But we come home to a CRAZY house. I have laundry up the ying yang. There are piles of baby stuff all around everywhere till I can decide where to stick it. And we are using wet wipes as our current form of toilet paper. OH THE DREADED GROCERY STORE. I just can't make myself go. I also had another ultrasound today which had good and bad news. Bad, being that I still have Placenta Previa and will have to go back in another month to check again. Good, being that I got a 4d ultrasound and got to see this little bums cute face. They changed my due date again to July 29.
I don't think I have ever been this tired before. I am just constantly exhausted. I just had to go out and buy myself a Tiger's blood slushee, a twix bar, and a heath bar to make it through the day. It was a $3.94 well spent. I ate the heath and am saving the twix for when Tati has her next melt down. It is Tati's birthday Wed. and I haven't done a dang thing yet. I haven't even gotten her a present so I really need to get on it!! My baby is turning 2. Okay gotta go now so I can go have a good cry over it.....;)

Drum roll please...

Tati is getting a little sister! We paid to get an ultrasound at fetal fotos today and the legs were wide spread today. It is so interesting to see the difference between Tatiana's ultrasound and this little one. This little one has the biggest lips I have ever seen. Even the tech commented on those choppers. I am a quite curious to see this little face. I feel so much better knowing. It was hard to connect with this baby not knowing what sex it was for me. Buy this point with Tati we knew the sex for months, knew her name and I had most of her clothes for the first year. I also had so much more time to think about all that was to come. These days I don't even have a moment to myself let alone my thoughts. This has made me excited and curious to see how it all works out. Now we just have to agree on a name...

Should I do it?

Some of you may know my OB told me I was going to have an ultrasound after this last appointment. I seemed like it took forever for the appointment to get here. The first thing I asked when he walked in was when can I get it? He said,"Oh another two months". I was in shock!! When I rememinded him he said I could get it after this appointment and he just replied that we should wait but because I was so upset we will only wait one more month. I was SERIOUSLY upset. Here I am 25 weeks and I haven't bought a dang thing for this kid. So, I decided to go to fetal studios next week and buckle and actually pay for one. The thing costs $59. But this test is at Walgreen's for $29.99 and 6 out of 7 reviews were good. I have never heard of an at home test to tell the gender. What should I do.......

I love u Curly sue...

The morning I took these pictures I just couldn't believe how curly Tati's hair was. She woke up with perfect ringlets all over her head. What I would give for that hair....

Don't touch my child

Dear Purple Ball lady at discovery gateway,
I understand that your daughter likes the purple balls. However, my daughter likes them too. In fact, she likes any color. Your daughter does not "OWN" all the purple balls in the whole place and does not need to throw a tantrum anytime anyone else touches a purple ball. What really upsets me though is the fact that you grabbed my daughter's arm and yanked her away and told her that she can't touch the purple balls. I really can't believe you touched my child. You are lucky all I said to you was not to touch her. Discovery Gateway is about sharing...if you want to teach your 3 year old to be spoiled go ahead. But maybe you should do it at home next time. That is a whole set of issues you will have to deal with at a later time I am sure.
sincerly,
one pissed off mom

Time to slow it down a little for couples skate....

I think I am in a blogging blah lately. But here is the latest in our lives:
Tati- not potty trained although loves to flush the toilet and flush and flush. She is too big/heavy for the crib so she has been crashing with us which makes for WONDERFUL sleep. We are going to buy a bed with our tax return. Altogether having an almost two year old (one month) is the best and the worst all at the same time.
George- Was so happy the sun came out and he got to play some golf. He was so happy because he got to have a guys night with his friends and I could tell he needed it. We are too much woman for him to handle sometimes. Is so grateful his job is stable and he is actually being promoted instead of laid off like so many we know. Such a great sport to put up with GRUMPY me all the time.
Me-NO sleep. I just started stampin up and am really excited. Plan on a party in the next month to come. I have total anxiety about this baby...funny I wasn't like this last time. Loves twix bars and Dr. Peppers.
Not too much going on here. The things I have had on my mind lately are missionary work, fellow shipping, and knowing how grateful we should be for everything we have...including you my friends!
